  Dined there 11/15/2016. Not what we wanted. We were expecting sophisticated and artistically prepared dishes. The first impression was great: the servant (Mark) was definitely a professional. His descriptions made me salivate. We ordered the tasting menu. Oysters came first, very large, with a heavy metallic taste, no interesting idea, just oysters. Foie gras was sitting on an oil-soaked biscuit, nothing particular in that combination. Catch of the day, was a chunk of some Mexican fish, bulky with a fishy smell, properly garnished. The duck was just a duck. Everything in this place seemed prepared by someone who is following a cooking textbook to the letter. The original materials were of fine quality. Unfortunately, all dishes were lacking originality. No need to go there and pay their check unless you just wanted to fill your stomach with reasonable feeding components and do not care how much it costs. The chef does not match the servant. By the way, I submitted this review to Open Table and they never posted it.

  Never again, first experience here was about 2 years ago while on vacation. Server mocked the fact that fiance and myself weren't dressed for occasion because I was in "sandals"... we were dressed very well mind you, but apparently flat designer sandals aren't appropriate for a 6pm dinner on the water, my bad. Food was great on our first go around and server continued to mock us, I asked for wine list for a second time and he goes "I can just pick out something with my experience, you look like you like a sweet white" I was so fed up at this point we asked for the check and for our parking to be validated and left, he was talking crap about us as we left to hostess. Now get this 2 years later we come back to dine week before Thanksgiving and guess who our server is.... I didn't notice at first until my husband mentioned it...same exact guy, same crappy attitude, and food left something to be desired..I have never had such a hostile waiter at any fine dining establishment. I'm not going to post his name publicly, but mid 40s white male, trying to grease back his dark hair and look down upon everyone he serves. There's no way we can be the only couple he has lashed out against. We also heard him mocking a woman who asked him what Shiraz was..come on buddy. He needs to retire or be retired from waiting tables. Extremely fed up, restaurant is beautiful though, good luck if you can get a different waiter
